Our mission is to empower individuals and families with the tools, housing, and support they need to build independent and sustainable futures.

Founded in 2025 by Naja Graves, Nurturing Futures Foundation was created to bridge the gap between temporary housing and lasting independence. Drawing on years of experience in property management and community building, Naja envisioned an organization that provides not only a safe place to live but also the resources and guidance needed to thrive.'

What began as a vision to support young mothers has grown into a multi-initiative foundation serving diverse communities in transition. Nurturing Futures Foundation is committed to creating pathways that lead to stability, dignity, and hope.

We proudly serve individuals and families who are navigating significant life transitions, including:

• Young mothers ages 18–24
• Teen parents under 18
• Veterans transitioning to civilian life
• Individuals in recovery
• People re-entering society after incarceration

Our programs are designed to meet each group where they are, offering housing and supportive services tailored to their unique needs.

At Nurturing Futures Foundation, we believe that housing is just the beginning. Our approach focuses on equipping residents with the skills, support, and opportunities they need to build stable, independent lives.

We provide:

• Safe transitional housing in nurturing environments
• Life skills programming covering financial literacy, health, parenting, therapy, and education
• Community partnerships that connect residents to vocational training, employment opportunities, and long-term support systems

By addressing both immediate needs and long-term growth, we help residents build strong foundations for the future.

Based in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Nurturing Futures Foundation currently serves communities across the state through transitional housing and supportive programs. As we grow, we are laying the groundwork to expand services to California, building partnerships and identifying opportunities to bring our housing and empowerment model to communities in need on the West Coast.

As a growing organization, Nurturing Futures Foundation is focused on laying strong foundations for long-term impact. Our vision is to develop a network of transitional housing programs that provide safe, stable housing and holistic support to underserved populations.

In the coming years, we plan to:

• Establish multiple housing initiatives across Michigan, tailored to the unique needs of young mothers, veterans, teen parents, and individuals rebuilding their lives.
• Expand services to California, forming partnerships with local agencies and organizations to address housing gaps and bring our support model to new communities.
• Build sustainable programs through strategic collaborations, community engagement, and resource development that ensure lasting impact.
